The popular carnival evening concert is one big party full of community spirit and fun. It's family friendly and laid back. Set up your deck chairs, enjoy the atmosphere and have a good old boogie!
With the stalls and attractions from the afternoon carnival packed away there is ample space and time for you to enjoy a picnic in the park, or you can treat yourself to some excellent food from one of our hot food concessions before the bands start playing.
Four exciting local bands will have you dancing 'til dark when our firework finale will light the sky, bringing to a close this years Carnival. Topping the bill is the fabulous Ready or Not supported by That Brit Sound, Backline and Piston Broke, who open our concert at 6pm.
The Carnival Bar, which is operated by Friends of Woodley Carnival, will be open all evening and you can enjoy a Pimms or a pint at very reasonable prices.
Fancy an adrenaline rush? Head over to our Carnival Fairground and take a ride on the dodgems, waltzer, ferris wheel and more. Our younger guests can enjoy FREE inflatable attractions until 8pm thanks to our Headline Sponsors.
If you're joining us for the evening there is ample parking (after 6pm) adjacent to the carnival field in the local Town Centre car parks (charges apply). There are event toilets provided adjacent to the Coronation Hall. The Oakwood Centre toilets are not accessible from the carnival field.
You will need to purchase an evening wristband which is available on the entry gate, you can buy these from noon onward, it also gives entry to the afternoon carnival as well and allows you come and go as you please with re-entry, so why not make a day of it?
Please be aware that BBQ's are not permitted on the carnival field. You may bring alcohol for personal consumption onto the field but please note that NO GLASS IS ALLOWED ON SITE, please decant into plastic containers.
