If you are enthusiastic and keen to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in then why not volunteer either yourself or your organisation.

Every year the Carnival is spectacular gem in Town calendar. The carnival would not take place without the help and support of a team of volunteers and helpers made up from local Businesses, Schools and Organisations. Everyone gives their time freely and often their resources too, bringing their professional expertise and willingness to support the committee who meet monthly. In turn everyone is rewarded with a great sense of satisfaction in proving a wonderful carnival for the community to enjoy.

Carnival set up starts on the Friday and additional help in the afternoon and early evening is much needed. Carnival day is just all hands-on deck and we can always do to additional help throughout the day and evening. Our Sunday team must put everything away and leave the field as we found it, rubbish free. The more support we can get the quicker the job is done, and we can all go home and relax.

We have close ties with local groups who provide some of the much needed extra pairs of hands and of course by our sponsors who we rely on to allow us to fund the carnival each year.

The carnival is open to all business, schools, individuals and organisation to take part in. This is a great opportunity for you to be part of a wonderful event, which brings the whole community together.

So, whether you decide to join the procession, have a stand on the main field, or perform in the arena or on our main stage, this is your opportunity to be involved.

The buzz on carnival day is electric and it creates a wonderful atmosphere in Woodley, many local businesses use the opportunity to reach out to their customers and promote themselves. Our local groups use the day to promote themselves, gain members and raise a little money along the way, this is a great chance to boost local support.
