Carnival Queens, Princesses and Prince
The 54th Woodley Community Carnival is nearly here and this years events began with our search for the 2014 Carnival Queens, Princesses and Prince.
Following a fabulous turnout on Friday 2nd May our lucky winners were selected by a panel of judges made up from our event sponsor Finn Hair Salon and guests from Berkshire Wedding Fairs.
Our Senior Queen is Tabitha James from Waingels College and is joined by Senior Princess, Jasmine Beard also from Waingels College.
Evelyn Thomas from Southlake Primary School is our Junior Queen and is joined by Sophie Dymond from Willow Bank Junior School as Junior Princess.
Bailey Hawes from Beechwood Primary School is our Carnival Prince.
On carnival day, Saturday 14th June the lucky winners have their hair done at the FINN Hair salon in Loddon Bridge Road, Woodley. Then in classic cars supplied by the Hants & Berks Motor Club they will lead the procession around Woodley ending at the Memorial Ground in Headley Road, Woodley where the afternoon Carnival will be taking place.
