John's tribute to Elton John has a combination of three elements unique in the music scene today: the ability to play live piano, sing and look like Elton. John's flamboyant showmanship captures the mannerisms and charisma of the man himself, performing all the best loved hits.

John has the ability to create a great show which is the next best thing to the original.

Platinum ABBA was formed as a 6-piece band in 1997 with the sole aim of becoming the best "ABBA" tribute band in the World.

Individually, its musicians have toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in show business.  With meticulous attention to every detail, they have combined stunning musicianship, authentic costumes, Abba-esque choreography and a suitable dose of tongue-in-cheek humour within an electrifying performance to produce a breathtaking show that appeals to all ages.

But the most important challenge to the band was to recreate the "ABBA" sound absolutely LIVE on stage, without resorting to hidden backing tapes and discs. After all..... ABBA never used them, so why should an ABBA tribute! Platinum ABBA were determined their audiences wouldn't be cheated with a glorified ABBA karaoke.

And they have succeeded. Resulting in a show that delivers the kind of excitement and audience reaction only a LIVE band can deliver. Just like the real ABBA!

Wen the London Evening Standard claim that Platinum ABBA are "better than the original" you know they must be something special!

Originally known as Caution, We Caught the Castle are a Reading based five piece band who formed in October 2009 when the original singer left and Hollie was introduced to the scene, joining Joe (Guitar), Rob (Bass & Vocals), Simon (Guitar and Vocals) & Zak (Drums). Aged 17 and 18, the band members all share a strong passion for writing, recording and performing music

Building on Caution’s success (gigs at numerous venues around the UK including a crowd of more than 5,000 at Wellington Country Park, after being spotted performing at the Woodley Carnival, and reaching the Global Battle of the Bands England final in 2006 and 2007) We Caught the Castle entered the 2009 England Global Battle of the Bands competition reaching the final after a successful London heat which was the band’s first ever outing.
