Carnival week is from Sunday 7th June through to Saturday 12th June. With help from local Schools, clubs and businesse we hope to have a week packed with events leading up to carnival day. Back in 2004 Woodley Carnival charities fund donated £244000 towards the building of the Oakwood Centre. This allows us exclusive use of the facilities free of charge for a number of days each year. School, clubs and community groups will have the oppertunity to showcase the diversity Woodley has to offer by holding a joint event with the Woodley Community Carnival and using the Oakwood Centre's facilities (Theatre and Halls)
If you would like to be involved by holding an event during carnival week either at the Oakwood Centre or at your own venue to promote yourself get in contact with us so that we can help. 03 June
Each year we join with the The Woodley Netball Club orgainse the Carnival Hi 5 netball rally involving local primary schools. Based at Woodford Park Leisure Centre the Woodley Netball Club have different squads training Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings during the school term time. Training is held in the sports hall from 8.00 - 9.30 pm for seniors and their junior section for girls aged 9-14 is held from 5.30 - 8.00 pm.
10 June
The very popular Carnival Quiz returns again this year. Teams can be upto 8 members with no minimum number, your ticket includes a fish & chip supper and there will also be a cash bar selling beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
10 - 11 June
Each year we join with the local Primary Schools to orgainse the Carnival football competition. Willow Bank Junior School will again be hosting the competition and schools in the Woodley cluster group will be involved in the competition taking place at the Woodford Park Leisure Centre. Over the two evenings both the boys and girls teams from each schools will be playing to take the trophies home to their school.
13 June
Following the fantastic support for this event last year the team at Woodley Pets are excited to be returning again this year. Woodley Pets located in the Woodley Shopping Centre and are one of the many local businesses who are supporting the carnival.

The Hants & Berks Motor Club will be joining us again this year with their static display of cars and other interesting vehicles. They have asked us to pass on a big thank you to everyone who attended or displayed at the 2013 show.
